Something that annoyed me the other day...

I was at a Subway getting lunch after my Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class. Since it was about lunchtime, the line was understandably very long. For about 20 minutes I watched people in front of me order their sandwiches.

"Six inch turkey. With cheese. Heated. Mayo, no vegetables."

"Six inch meatball on white. Toasted. American cheese. Parmesan cheese. That's it."

And so continued the procession of plainness. Now, I'm not saying Subway is a purveyor of high class dining, but come on man. I mean, people are obviously entitled to their own preferences, but I highly doubt I'd see as much of this going on in food meccas like Austin or Houston.

Maybe I'm just projecting my angst towards small town living/mentalities. Ugh.
